Huge Power Breaker

Huge Power Kartana is an excellent physical wallbreaker. It utilizes decent speed, amazing attack, and STAB Sunsteel Strike. It also runs Shell Smash to set up.

You can usually get away with most coverage for Kartana for the 2nd and 4th slot. I only put a few flex slots for them, but you can also run coverage that suits your team, with examples such as Icicle Spear, Crabhammer, Plasma Fists, etc. The only main things that Huge Power Kartana needs are Shell Smash and Sunsteel Strike. Kartana is also great when paired with speed control, and (optionally) hazard support to help break sashes. Kartana itself has decent speed, however, it's not nearly enough to outspeed other threats such as Mewtwo-Mega-Y, Mewtwo-Mega-X, etc. Ice Shard was more popular back then for Prankster Zygarde-Complete, which would Haze and Recover with priority, and Ice Shard being used as something could hit Zygarde before it clicked Haze.

Kartana can be checked by many defensive Steels as long as scouted and made sure that it doesn't have the coverage. Prankster Steel types include Celesteela, Registeel, Aggron-Mega, and Steelix-Mega. Ice Shard on Kartana also isn't as popular nowadays, so Zygarde-Complete can soft-check Kartana. Additionally, Kartana obviously being non-Magic Guard makes it prone to Innards Out blobs (Chansey and Blissey) that sacrifice themselves to kill Kartana.
